Emergency Relief Fund
A financial program available to Canadian patients in financial need who have been diagnosed with a leukemia or other blood disorders and receiving active care, follow-up or after-care at a Canadian hospital.
About the Emergency Relief Fund
The Emergency Relief Fund is proudly supported by The Donor Drive 4 Dorothy Gift A Patient Program.
We are acutely aware that the funds we provide to patients are limited and cannot begin to meet even a fraction of their huge financial burden but we are working hard to transform this fund so we can increase the cap and provide an ongoing resource for patients.
We rely on the generosity of donors to ensure we can meet these growing needs.
Applicants who are approved will receive a one-time payment.
Who is eligable?
- Diagnosed with a blood cancer or other blood disorder.
- Receiving care at a Canadian hospital (active treatment, follow-up or after-care).
- Able to prove financial hardship.
